Top 4 Dog Friendly Places in Charleston

Magnolia Plantation and Garden

Bring your fur friend to one of the most beautiful places in the Lowcountry. They are known for their amazing gardens. Hop onto the tram and snuggle up to your dog as you explore the wildlife and learn the history of the plantation. This is a great way to see the whole plantation. you can also explore the plantation on foot and makes for an amazing trail walk with the pupper.

Isle of Palms Beach

One of our favorite places in the Lowcountry by far. Our favorite time to go is early morning to catch the sunrise and have off leash fun. Your dog can swim and explore the beach wide open without having to worry a pesky leash slowing them down. Here are the beach rules for your dog.

Water Front Park

Downtown Charleston has a lot of places where your can bring your dog. Water Front Park is a great place for an evening walk as you can spot dolphins in the bay as you walk down to the Pineapple fountain. Great place for a picnic as well with its many green spaces.

Shem Creek Park

A great place to take a walk any time of day. We love the views from the boardwalk. You can watch the boats go in and out of the creek or spot little crabs, or even watch local fishermen fish. We usually time it around dusk and catch dinner across the creek at several of our favorite dinner spots.
